Miss M came to Arizona for a girls’ weekend in Old Town Scottsdale. But she packed more than just bathing suits and sunscreen; she brought lingerie and the courage to say yes to herself for an empowering boudoir photoshoot! This wasn’t just a vacation — it was an opportunity to nurture her relationship with a long-time friend and reconnect with herself on a level she hadn’t had a chance to for a while. She told me that booking boudoir shoots was a must for the girls this trip! And, choosing the right place to do it was incredibly important to her and her best friend. It would mean more than just pictures. It would be a moment to step out of their comfort zone, reclaim their confidence, and celebrate themselves!

What inspired you to do a boudoir boudoir photoshoot?
I really wanted to feel empowered. As a woman in her forties and a mother of two, there aren’t very moments just for me. I wanted to feel beautiful again.
Why did you choose Bella Jade Boudoir in Old Town Scottsdale for your boudoir session?
Christina’s vibe was perfect for what I was looking for. Laid back, fun, kind, and creative!
Do you consider yourself a confident person or more of a work in progress? Did doing a photo shoot like this change the way you see yourself?
Normally a work in progress but this session really brought out my confidence. This experience really changed how confident I am with my body in clothes and in my relationship.
Did you have any fears going into this? Were you able to overcome them? Is there anything you would have done differently?
I was worried about how to appear sexy in front of an “audience” but I ended up just laughing and having a ball!!! There’s nothing I would have done differently.
What was your favorite part about your Scottsdale boudoir experience?
My best friend and I both did our sessions the same day and my favorite part was the memory of us laughing together and having so much fun.
Do you have any advice for someone considering their own boudoir photoshoot?
DO IT!!!!!! Every woman deserves to feel beautiful in her own skin.
