This summer I had the joy of welcoming back a returning boudoir client who first came to me a little less than year ago for her first boudoir photo shoot. She walked into the studio with an unshakable presence. No nerves. No questions. Just excited and ready to try a new look and have some fun with it!

This summer I had the joy of welcoming back a returning boudoir client who first came to me a little less than year ago for her first boudoir photo shoot. Back then, she was still finding her footing stepping into her confidence—gorgeous, yes, but slightly hesitant, unsure if she was “doing it right.” (Spoiler: she was.) This time, though? She walked into the studio with an unshakable presence. No nerves. No questions. Just excited and ready to try a new look and have some fun with it!

It’s sensual, fresh, and a little wild— the epidemy of raw, sensual, feminine energy. Yes, we were in for something special and the photos turned out even better than I had imagined!
We started with the sheets. The kind of look that feels like a Sunday morning spent in bed, when the light hits just right and everything feels indulgent. No lingerie, no accessories—just her, draping fabric hugging her curves, and shadows that told the story of purity and innocence.
Then came the grapefruit.
Sliced in half, it brought an unexpected pop of color and texture. She held it delicately at first, then playfully—dripping juice onto her skin, biting into it with abandon. It was sticky and sweet and completely unfiltered. And it worked. The juxtaposition of the soft white sheets and the bold, juicy fruit created a visual metaphor for who she is right now: soft but strong, daring but grounded. A woman who no longer tiptoes around her own beauty.
This shoot wasn’t about perfection. It was about freedom. The freedom to explore, to laugh, to feel sexy in your skin with nothing but a bedsheet and a grapefruit in hand.
To my returning muse—thank you. Thank you for trusting me again, for embracing the wild parts of yourself, and for reminding us all the power of vulnerability and self exploration. One that gets juicier every time you say yes to yourself.

What inspired you to pursue a Scottsdale boudoir photography session?
I get all the promotional emails and my significant other's birthday was coming up. I wanted to do something special for him for his birthday.
Why did you choose Bella Jade Boudoir for your boudoir photos?
This was my second photo shoot. I had so much fun the first time! I had to so much fun! I had to do another one!
Do you consider yourself a confident person or more of a work in progress. Did this experience change the way you see yourself?
I felt way more confident this time around. Christina makes you feel so at ease. It is impossible not to feel confident when you are working with her!
Did you have any fears going into this? Were you able to overcome them? Anything you wish you would have done differently?
Not really. This was a "tease me" white sheet photo shoot. So, the outfit choice is really easy. You are wearing a thong and you have a sheet covering you. I felt really comfortable and because it was my second time it was so much more fun!
What was your favorite part about your boudoir experience?
My favorite part was the props that we used. Christina had asked on FB in the VIP Boudoir Group if anyone with a upcoming photo shoot would mind if she incorporated grapefruit into the shoot. I thought it sounded fun and unique so I told her I would do it. I think this made my pictures unique. There will be other " tease me" photo shoots but not with a grapefruit incorporated. I like that makes mine different.
Do you have any advice for someone considering their own boudoir photoshoot?
Like the Nike slogan says " JUST DO IT!" I had been putting this off for so many years. If you are having any reservations about it, just do it! You will never regret it! Plus, Heidi, will make you look amAZing!! Her make up and her hair!! She made me feel so beautiful.

What inspired you to do a boudoir boudoir photoshoot?
I really wanted to feel empowered. As a woman in her forties and a mother of two, there aren’t very moments just for me. I wanted to feel beautiful again.

Christina’s vibe was perfect for what I was looking for. Laid back, fun, kind, and creative!
Do you consider yourself a confident person or more of a work in progress? Did doing a photo shoot like this change the way you see yourself?
Normally a work in progress but this session really brought out my confidence. This experience really changed how confident I am with my body in clothes and in my relationship.
Did you have any fears going into this? Were you able to overcome them? Is there anything you would have done differently?
I was worried about how to appear sexy in front of an “audience” but I ended up just laughing and having a ball!!! There’s nothing I would have done differently.

My best friend and I both did our sessions the same day and my favorite part was the memory of us laughing together and having so much fun.

Why did you decide to do a boudoir photoshoot?
I had always wanted to try it out. After I turned 40 I was like if I don't do it now, I am never going to to it.

I looked at a lot of places but Bella Jade was an all female place. The reviews were all 5 star 🌟
Do you consider yourself a confident person or more of a work in progress? Did doing a boudoir shoot change the way you see yourself?
I am definitely a work in progress but I felt incredibly confident when I went into Bella Jade. This experience made me feel more confident and more alive in my own skin.
Did you have any fears going into your boudoir photoshoot? Were you able to overcome them? Is there anything you wish you had done differently?
I didn't have fears. I was nervous but I had a so much fun. If I could do this whole photo shoot again I would have done the Noir photo shoot too.
What was your favorite part about your Scottsdale boudoir experience?
The hair and make up is always my favorite part. I never do my own make up. And very rarely do I do my hair. But, then it was just the 3 of us ladies having fun.

I wanted to build some confidence, but I’m also getting married and wanted a surprise for my soon-to-be husband.

I just loved Christina’s work and her whole vibe! Her online presence is very positive and empowering. And her work is sexy and fun without being over the top.
Do you consider yourself a confident person or more of a work in progress? Did this experience change the way you see yourself?
I think of my self as a mostly confident person with some things I can definitely work on. The experience helped me to gain some confidence in my body and my ability to look sexy at any size.
Did you have any fears going into this? Were you able to overcome them? Anything you wish you would have done differently?
I was nervous that I was just going to look like a whale in anything that wasn’t something full coverage. But with help from Christina beforehand in outfit selection as well as just her being a rockstar and finding the right positions for me, I LOVED the results. I legit never thought I could look so hot!!
What was your favorite part about your boudoir experience?
Hanging with Christina and Leah! They are so much fun and made me feel so comfortable, confident, and beautiful. They were also amazing about finding angles and looks that worked for ME not just putting everything into a cookie cutter and dealing with the results.
Do you have any advice for someone considering their own boudoir photoshoot?
BOOK THE SHOOT!!! You aren’t too old, fat, saggy, or whatever… your body is beautiful and you should celebrate the stage you’re in!! This is also such a fun, sexy surprise for someone! I can NOT wait to give my fiancé the results!!

What inspired you to pursue a boudoir photo shoot?
I have always wanted to do this but kept putting it off, waiting for an occasion or a milestone moment. I finally decided to stop waiting and got the encouragement from a few close friends to just do it. And soooo glad I finally did!
Why did you choose Bella Jade Boudoir in Scottsdale for your Arizona boudoir experience?
After I decided to do a boudoir shoot, I started to do my research. I visited multiple sites and just kept going back to The Bella Jade Collection. What drew me to it was Christina's style of photography and her being able to capture the essence of a woman and bring out the sexiness in a sensual way. That is what I was looking for. I was sold!
Do you consider yourself a confident person or more of a work in progress? Did this experience change the way you see yourself?
I fluctuate between confident and work in progress, I'm pretty sure all of us women do. With having children and aging and dealing with body changes, it's an ongoing process of accepting yourself as you are now. This experience has definitely helped me see myself as sexy and alluring. It helped me to see myself in a way that I haven't seen in a long while.
Did you have any fears going into this? Were you able to overcome them? Anything you wish you would have done differently?
I definitely was anxious and nervous and way out of my comfort zone going in. But Christina is so genuine and real and did such an amazing job of helping me overcome that and help me feel relaxed.
What was your favorite part about your boudoir experience?
Christina took the rein and helped me get out of my head by just letting go and enjoying the experience. She walked me through everything, answered every question, helped with outfit selections and worked with me through my insecurities to produce some AMAZING pictures!
Do you have any advice for someone considering their own boudoir photoshoot?
I would say, stop waiting for the 'right' moment. Whether you're 100% confident or not, this experience will change your mindset!

What inspired you to pursue a boudoir photo shoot?
I have had a ROUGH start to 2024. After some damaging blows to my self confidence my partner of nearly 8 years left me. I took it upon myself to try to rise up, lost 65 pounds and wanted to do something for myself to claim my confidence back. This seemed like a great just for myself option and a way to break out and celebrate myself and my self change.
Why did you choose Bella Jade Boudoir in Scottsdale for your Arizona boudoir experience?
Everything I have seen from following social media I have liked. I love that it's about who women are, not photoshopping to make people look like who society thinks women should be.
Do you consider yourself a confident person or more of a work in progress? Did this experience change the way you see yourself?
I used to be a confident person. I want to be again. I am a work in progress. But this has helped me see myself in a better more positive way - which I needed.
Did you have any fears going into this? Were you able to overcome them? Anything you wish you would have done differently?
No fears. I went into this planning to be as open as I could. I guess I was worried I would be too negative about myself and talk myself out of liking any of my photos. Thankfully that didn't happen. I love a lot of them.
What was your favorite part about your boudoir experience?
I think just starting to prove to myself again that I'm worth my own time.
Do you have any advice for someone considering their own boudoir photoshoot?
Do it. Do it for yourself. Sure it would be a fun gift for someone. But do it to prove to yourself that you're amazing.

What inspired you to pursue a boudoir session?
I wanted to be put in a setting where it opens up my woman hood and embrace myself and my body!

I had researched others in my area and this company kept sticking out.
Do you consider yourself a confident person or more of a work in progress? Did this experience change the way you see yourself?
Probably more a work in progress, yes it did change the way I see myself I can be an empowering women yet vulnerable.
Did you have any fears going into this? Were you able to overcome them? Anything you wish you would have done differently?
Absolutely was nervous. I think I did my best to overcome that. I wish I would’ve let go even more and more.
What was your favorite part about your boudoir experience?
The whole day was great , narrowing it down is tough but the feeling of sexy vulnerability.

Feel free let go and give in.

What inspired you to pursue a boudoir session?
I cosplay and I am an innately sensual person. I enjoy my sexuality and wanted to combine both of these elements in a classy way.

A work in progress, I think I’ll always be a work in progress.
Life is constantly changing and so are we. We can love ourselves one moment but then something happens and we have to start all over again to build up those foundations of self love.
Did you have any fears going into this kind of photoshoot? Were you able to overcome them? Anything you would have done differently?
I didn’t have any fears, just excitement.
This was something new and definitely something I’d love to do again.
What was your favorite part about your Scottsdale boudoir experience?
It’s hard to pick just one singular part since I really did love everything from feeling pampered with makeup and hair styling, to the fun banter during the actual photoshoot. Even the photo selection process was a bit surreal to just see all the images printed out.

What inspired you to pursue a Scottsdale boudoir session?
I heard about it from make up artists over the past year or so and was always intrigued.
I am recently divorced and a new-ish mom and had lost my "sexy vibes" over the last 3 years of this - so wanted to re-find my sexy side.
Why did you choose Bella Jade Boudoir in Scottsdale Arizona for your Boudoir Experience?
Her style of photos resonated with me.
Do you consider yourself a confident person or more of a work in progress? Did this boudoir experience change the way you see yourself?
I'm confident - maybe it doesn't seem that way posing lol but I am proud of my body and love it. I work very hard to keep it healthy. This photo shoot just demonstrated a different side. I default to feeling strong in my body but this was a softer sexy side that I typically am not as confident in.
Did you have any fears going into this? Were you able to overcome them?
Not really - but it is a bit awkward posing sexy for a camera. I'd like to continue to explore this.
What was your favorite part about your Scottsdale boudoir experience?
Christina and her make up artist were amazing. Super funny. Made me look gorgeous!

I was celebrating my 40th wedding anniversary and 58th birthday in September and wanted to do a little something out of the ordinary.

I am definitely a work in progress. Even though I can be very confident about certain aspects of my life this was definitely one of those areas where I doubt myself and feel self conscious. All of the uplifting emails throughout the process certainly helped to put me at ease and Christina was very upbeat and a fantastic coach helping me pose, etc.
Did you have any fears going into this? Were you able to overcome them?
I was afraid that I would not look very attractive, especially as a woman my age putting myself out there to be photographed. I must say that even at 58 years old the photos turned out spectacular and I would do it again in a heartbeat.
What was your favorite part about your Scottsdale boudoir experience?
I loved the photo shoot with the girls. They made me feel so comfortable and I was sad to see it end and could have stayed there all day. It was like spending the day with your girlfriends and having the best time.

What inspired you to pursue a Scottsdale boudoir session?
I have wanted to do something like this for quite some time. I wanted to be able to learn to love my body. I stumbled across Bella Jade on Instagram. I loved seeing all the different women being shown and reading up on their experiences. All of these things finally helped me go for it!

I read up on the website. After seeing many amazing reviews and being able to "see" the team I felt a bit more at ease. It helped to put a face to some of the people that I might meet or work with. Plus all the raving reviews from "normal" women just like me made it all the more welcoming.
Do you consider yourself a confident person or more of a work in progress? Did this boudoir experience change the way you see yourself?
I find in some ways I have gained a bit more confidence. It's still a work in progress but I'm definitely on the right track. This was an incredible once-in-a-lifetime experience. I left on a high ready to schedule another session!
Did you have any fears going into this? Were you able to overcome them?
Absolutely! How was I going to be so vulnerable in front of someone I barely knew? How was I going to choose the right look I wanted? Was it going to be awkward? What if I didn't feel sexy or confident and it showed? Christina and Leah were so amazing. From the moment I walked in the door, there was just a fun and relaxing vibe. We got the music going and the fun just kept going. It was absolutely freeing! After finally experiencing this I don't know Why I was so afraid and didn't do this sooner.
What was your favorite part about your Scottsdale boudoir experience?
Too many to pick just one! The fun and chilled atmosphere that Christina created. She is such a wonderful and fun person to be around. She doesn't make you do anything you're uncomfortable with. She doesn't just tell you how to pose, she gets down and does it with you! She knows how to make you feel beautiful and confident.

I was worried the photos would capture my “bad side” but I just went with it and had fun.

What inspired you to pursue a Scottsdale boudoir session?
I’d been wanting to do it for a long time, and my husbands birthday was the perfect extra “little” push I needed.

I looked at multiple boudoir photographers in the Phoenix area and decided I liked the style of Christina’s photography style and she looked like so much fun to be around…she did not disappoint!
Do you consider yourself a confident person or more of a work in progress? Did this boudoir experience change the way you see yourself?
I am definitely a work in progress, but this experience helped change the way I see myself. I never thought I knew how to be sexy or that I even had it in me to be photographed while trying. I felt not only sexy, but beautiful!
Did you have any fears going into this? Were you able to overcome them?
The only fear I had going into this is not really knowing how to use my body to capture the images I was hoping for, but Christina is not only an amazing photographer but also a great coach! She even taught me how to get rid of my RBF for a quick minute!

I don’t have a single favorite part, I loved every single moment! From having a yummy mimosa, getting beautified with Leah, to just having so much fun! The time went by way too fast!

I am a work in progress. Completing this photo shoot had me face a fear and anytime I start to forget I always look at one of my pics from the shoot and its a reminder of who I am and what I can do.
Did you have any fears going into this? Were you able to overcome them?
So many fears going into this even during the shoot there was an outfit I was terrified of the way the pics would turn out. I am so glad I continued with my outfit as one of the most terrifying outfits are one of my favorite pics. I actually don't think I would have done anything differently.
What was your favorite part about your Scottsdale boudoir experience?
The girls (makeup artist and Christina) making it from the beginning like we were old friends just hanging out and having a good time.

DO IT!! This is for YOU and no one else. Don't worry about what people will think or say about you completing this. Your dreams are yours and no one has the right to take that away from you.

Miss W. came in to our Scottsdale boudoir studio wanting to gift her husband a boudoir album for their 20th anniversary. She was honest to admit that she had wanted to do a boudoir shoot for years prior to booking her session with us. On multiple occasions she had chatted it over with her friends, knowing she just had to do this one day, and even still, talked herself out of it and into it over and over until finally taking the leap.

What inspired you to pursue a Scottsdale boudoir session?
I've wanted to do one for years but this year was my 20th wedding anniversary, so it seemed like a good time to get brave and do it already!
Why did you choose Bella Jade Boudoir The Bella Jade Collection for your Arizona boudoir experience?
I Googled and researched all of the photographers within a few hours from my house. I was very reassured that the reviews were consistently great and everyone seemed to really love Christina. Truthfully what sealed the deal for me were pictures of The Grey Room. I loved the way it looked and wanted to do my pictures there.
Do you consider yourself a confident person or more of a work in progress? Did this boudoir experience change the way you see yourself?
I am very much a "Work-in-progress"! I am good at talking the talk but not walking the walk. Doing this boudoir shoot really did help me see myself in a new way and gave me a huge boost of confidence in myself.
Did you have any fears going into this? Were you able to overcome them?
My fear was mostly that I am plus-sized and I felt really unsure if it would be worth it because I am not thin and perky. I never imagined that I would be walking into a place where I was accepted and encouraged and celebrated-- my fears left me somewhere around the time that my hair was done being curled! I wish that I had done it sooner. I wouldn't change anything else about this experience.
What was your favorite part about your Scottsdale boudoir experience?
My favorite part of the experience was Christina and Heidi's reactions when I came out in my last outfit. It was an open button-up shirt and I was feeling insecure about my breasts sagging so I used kinesiology tape to tape them up and create cleavage. It caught them off guard which caught me off guard and we all laughed and it was a really empowering moment for me. I was encouraged to do what made me feel comfortable and we got some really great pictures as a result! My second favorite part was picking up the book that I ordered and seeing it for the first time.
Do you have any advice for someone considering their own boudoir photo shoot?
Don't think too hard about the outfits that you picked out. Go with the ones you like the most and 3 or 4 outfits is perfect. You will change positions constantly and end up with a ton of great shoots to choose from. Also, just do it already! Looking back I wish I had done this years ago. Whatever excuses you are giving yourself to not book a session are probably fear-based. Once you do your boudoir session you will be so happy with the results! You are in good hands with Bella Jade!

Absolutely! I've been bragging to my friends (the same friends who have heard me talk about boudoir on and off for years now). It's a special thing to be able to be vulnerable in front of strangers knowing that the result will be —

For that, she booked our Signature experience and began planning outfits for her session that would take place in The Grey Room. She even ordered a custom bridal lingerie piece (that by the way was its own amazing work of art: pictured below).

We enjoyed every minute with this babe! From helping her plan,
getting all glammed up,
hanging with her in the studio,
laughing (because what’s a boudoir shoot if youre not having fun!),
goo-ing over how incredible she looked in her bridal lingerie,
trying epic boudoir poses like the infamous wall hand stand (she’s kind of a big deal!),
to revealing her finished images with her,
then finally handing over her gorgeous album to be gifted to her lucky hubby to be!

Afterwards we asked Miss N. about what the boudoir experience was like for her from start to finish. Since she has so graciously allowed us to share her boudoir story along with some of her favorite images from her session, you can see her full interview here.
What inspired you to pursue a Scottsdale boudoir session?
I've been wanting to do a boudoir session for a couple years now. I love the idea of looking back on these photos when I'm 75 & knowing I was a badass & still am ;)

After typing 'Top Boudoir Photographers in Scottsdale' into google & looking through a few, I knew I wanted to go with Christina. All of the reviews were amazing, the photos were beautiful & the women's before/after photos gave me hope that she didn't only photograph models (even thought they alllll look like it in the photos).

Always a work in progress taking baby steps to become more of who I want to be. Working with Christina & Leah during the experience I felt like it was okay (more than okay) to see myself as a beautiful, sexy woman. That's how I want to see myself & these photos help me believe that!

Did you have any fears going into this? Were you able to overcome them?
When I initially booked the appointment I was super excited & then as the day was coming up I was getting nervous about being awkward in front of a camera & being awkward with a stranger in front of a camera - while I'm half naked. Once I got to the studio their welcoming energy helped me calm down & after a few awkward poses & lots of laughs I was able to let loose.
I wish I would have looked at her TikTok videos - I felt like I would have been a little more prepared. She did a great job walking me through everything, but I could have done a little more prep to feel comfortable going in.

What was your favorite part about your Scottsdale boudoir experience?
Looking at my photos! Having my hair & makeup done! Feeling like I'm a sexy, strong women in front of the camera! Laughing with two other confident, sexy women & wishing everyone could feel that feeling :)
