I put it on my bucket list as a way of rediscovering my sexuality after a breakup. I also wanted to document being young and hot!

It was time.

I have always been a work in progress. I mean who isn't right? I chose to do these pictures for myself. It's about damn time I start choosing myself :)

Every woman has their own reasons for doing a boudoir shoot, but mostly I think women want to feel good in their bodies. They want to love themselves more no matter what shape or size they may be at the time. They want to see the beauty others see in them — feel all sexy and empowered!

Our Scottsdale boudoir photo sessions have proven time and time again that this experience really can change the way you see yourself as well as help you learn to be more confident in your own skin. “How was I going to be so vulnerable in front of someone I barely knew? How was I going to choose the right look I wanted? Was it going to be awkward? What if I didn't feel sexy or confident and it showed? Christina and Leah were so amazing. From the moment I walked in the door, there was just a fun and relaxing vibe. We got the music going and the fun just kept going. It was absolutely freeing! After finally experiencing this I don't know Why I was so afraid and didn't do this sooner.”

What inspired you to pursue a Scottsdale boudoir session?

I have wanted to do something like this for quite some time. I wanted to be able to learn to love my body. I stumbled across Bella Jade on Instagram. I loved seeing all the different women being shown and reading up on their experiences. All of these things finally helped me go for it!

I read up on the website. After seeing many amazing reviews and being able to "see" the team I felt a bit more at ease. It helped to put a face to some of the people that I might meet or work with. Plus all the raving reviews from "normal" women just like me made it all the more welcoming.

I find in some ways I have gained a bit more confidence. It's still a work in progress but I'm definitely on the right track. This was an incredible once-in-a-lifetime experience. I left on a high ready to schedule another session!

Miss D. coming into our boudoir studio bringing all of the energy was such a breath of fresh air. Her confidence and body positivity entirely blew me away! After spending time working on her self image, she was able to get to a place of compassion, love, and appreciation for her body. We love that! Miss T. Celebrates turning 50 with Her Very Own Boudoir Photo Shoot at Bella Jade Boudoir in Scottsdale Arizona | After The Session Interview

Words can not express the amazing experience I had.  Turning 50 at the end of 2022 and being body shamed since I was 12 this was something I have wanted to do for years but was so afraid to.  Made it a bucket list item and signed up.  I did my research on other photographers but following Christina on social media I got the feeling she truly cared and understood that not all women are built the same and we have our insecurities.  I was right the moment I walked in the door the day of the shoot I felt like I was hanging out with old friends just catching up and having a great time.  Then when I saw the completed pics all my previous worries went away and I am completely proud of myself for doing this.  If this is something you are wanting to do I highly recommend reaching out to The Bella Jade Collection.

To celebrate her 50th birthday Miss T. decided to book a boudoir session with us at Bella Jade Boudoir in Scottsdale. This was something she knew would have to be on her bucket list no matter how scary it seemed — She would later find that doing this session had in fact made a positive impact on her self esteem and gave her a huge sense of pride. Looking back at these photos is now something she finds encouraging, empowering, and uses it as a reminder for herself that we are capable of amazing things if we can set aside what we’re afraid of, believe in ourselves, and are willing to step outside of our comfort zones.

For her boudoir session Miss T. booked The Grey Room and wore a variety of outfits from sweet, subtlety seductive to something more ris·qué including topless with a white button down shirt. What inspired you to pursue a Scottsdale boudoir session?

Completing a childhood dream and turning 50. So happy that I was able to complete this bucket list item.

Found The Bella Jade Collection on Facebook and Instagram and started following. I really liked the photos and the inspirational messages that were sent out. Not all women are built the same and it felt like Christina truly understood that.

Do you consider yourself a confident person or more of a work in progress? Did this boudoir experience change the way you see yourself?

I am a work in progress. Completing this photo shoot had me face a fear and anytime I start to forget I always look at one of my pics from the shoot and its a reminder of who I am and what I can do.

Did you have any fears going into this? Were you able to overcome them?

So many fears going into this even during the shoot there was an outfit I was terrified of the way the pics would turn out. I am so glad I continued with my outfit as one of the most terrifying outfits are one of my favorite pics. I actually don't think I would have done anything differently.

What was your favorite part about your Scottsdale boudoir experience?

The girls (makeup artist and Christina) making it from the beginning like we were old friends just hanging out and having a good time.

Do you have any advice for someone considering their own boudoir photo shoot?

DO IT!! This is for YOU and no one else. Don't worry about what people will think or say about you completing this. Your dreams are yours and no one has the right to take that away from you.

“ … I never imagined that I would be walking into a place where I was accepted and encouraged and celebrated-- my fears left me somewhere around the time that my hair was done being curled! I wish that I had done it sooner. ”

Miss W. came in to our Scottsdale boudoir studio wanting to gift her husband a boudoir album for their 20th anniversary. She was honest to admit that she had wanted to do a boudoir shoot for years prior to booking her session with us. On multiple occasions she had chatted it over with her friends, knowing she just had to do this one day, and even still, talked herself out of it and into it over and over until finally taking the leap.

I wish I could say that doing a boudoir photography session is an easy YES for everyone because I wholeheartedly believe in boudoir and what it can do for you. Though — the truth is that it is not uncommon for women to put off doing a shoot like this.

Not only can it be incredibly intimidating at first, but it takes courage to confront your own doubts and body insecurities. For some a boudoir session can challenge the way they see themselves. While that journey can empower confidence it isn’t always easy to show up all in, right away.

I share this openly with you because we want you to know that you are not alone in feeling like this and it’s ok to start before you are fully ready.

What inspired you to pursue a Scottsdale boudoir session?

I've wanted to do one for years but this year was my 20th wedding anniversary, so it seemed like a good time to get brave and do it already!

Why did you choose Bella Jade Boudoir The Bella Jade Collection for your Arizona boudoir experience?

I Googled and researched all of the photographers within a few hours from my house. I was very reassured that the reviews were consistently great and everyone seemed to really love Christina. Truthfully what sealed the deal for me were pictures of The Grey Room. I loved the way it looked and wanted to do my pictures there.

Do you consider yourself a confident person or more of a work in progress? Did this boudoir experience change the way you see yourself?

I am very much a "Work-in-progress"! I am good at talking the talk but not walking the walk. Doing this boudoir shoot really did help me see myself in a new way and gave me a huge boost of confidence in myself.

Did you have any fears going into this? Were you able to overcome them?

My fear was mostly that I am plus-sized and I felt really unsure if it would be worth it because I am not thin and perky. I never imagined that I would be walking into a place where I was accepted and encouraged and celebrated-- my fears left me somewhere around the time that my hair was done being curled! I wish that I had done it sooner. I wouldn't change anything else about this experience.

What was your favorite part about your Scottsdale boudoir experience?

My favorite part of the experience was Christina and Heidi's reactions when I came out in my last outfit. It was an open button-up shirt and I was feeling insecure about my breasts sagging so I used kinesiology tape to tape them up and create cleavage. It caught them off guard which caught me off guard and we all laughed and it was a really empowering moment for me. I was encouraged to do what made me feel comfortable and we got some really great pictures as a result! My second favorite part was picking up the book that I ordered and seeing it for the first time.

Do you have any advice for someone considering their own boudoir photo shoot?

Don't think too hard about the outfits that you picked out. Go with the ones you like the most and 3 or 4 outfits is perfect. You will change positions constantly and end up with a ton of great shoots to choose from. Also, just do it already! Looking back I wish I had done this years ago. Whatever excuses you are giving yourself to not book a session are probably fear-based. Once you do your boudoir session you will be so happy with the results! You are in good hands with Bella Jade!

Absolutely! I've been bragging to my friends (the same friends who have heard me talk about boudoir on and off for years now). It's a special thing to be able to be vulnerable in front of strangers knowing that the result will be —

This was Miss M’s very first boudoir photo shoot. Like a lot of our clients she had a little bit of fear going into this but she had wanted to do a boudoir shoot for a long time. And, for Miss M. she was hopeful that doing something like this would bring her confidence back and allow her the space she needed to appreciate where she is right now, all in.

What inspired you to pursue a Scottsdale boudoir session?

I've always wanted to do a boudoir session since I'd learned about it. Losing weight and going through a rough break up made the timing right.

Why did you choose Bella Jade Boudoir The Bella Jade Collection for your Scottsdale boudoir experience?

The whole package. I had done some research and wanted to make sure I chose someone who offered everything from hair and makeup, to working with women, to seeing and having my final pictures in print and not just on a flash drive.

Do you consider yourself a confident person or more of a work in progress? Did this boudoir experience change the way you see yourself?

I thought I was sort of confident going in. Once there, my confidence was on edge. I thought I looked good, but I felt my body language didn't.

Then, when I got my pictures back, I cried. I couldn't believe that was me. By the way, they are sooo amazing!

I had a bit of fear.

I knew I was going to be wearing minimal in front of people I didn't know. The ladies made everything more comfortable.

Only thing I'd do differently is make sure I stretch more for days leading up to it, haha.

Miss D. admits she had some inhibitions going into this. She knew that she had wanted to do her very own boudoir photo shoot for a while. As a women in her 60’s in a body that looks different from medias perception of perfection it took a bit of courage to pull the trigger. And, honestly she is not alone in feeling the pressure to meet certain standards before booking a shoot like this. But for her — doing this NOW was the absolute right time!

Listen, there is no pre-requisite to learning to love yourself other than the desire to want to! As far as I am concerned, at Bella Jade, boudoir is about loving who your are in the body that you’re in right now, then

— having those images and re-visiting that feeling every time you look back on your boudoir photos!

I am so glad that Miss D refused to let her inhibitions hold her back, but rather allowed the inner critic to motivate her to be better at loving her body! She talked back, and I love that!

After her session at our main studio we asked to interview her about her Scottsdale boudoir photography experience. She said YES. She too, wanted other women to feel empowered to celebrate their bodies at any age so that they can see for themselves just how beautiful they really are. Her boudoir interview goes to show that numbers do not define us and we are ALWAYS worthy of self love.

What inspired you to pursue a Scottsdale boudoir session?

I had wanted to do it for a while and although I’m older and at my highest weight ever, I have been working on self love and wanted to see myself through different eyes.

Why did you choose Bella Jade Boudoir The Bella Jade Collection for your Arizona boudoir experience?

I had researched several boudoir companies. After reading the reviews and seeing Christina’s beautiful personality and love of her work it shine through, it was an easy decision.

Do you consider yourself a confident person or more of a work in progress? Did this boudoir experience change the way you see yourself?

I am definitely a work in progress. It did allow me to see several sides of myself that I usually do not or have not seen before.

Did you have any fears going into this? Were you able to overcome them?

I had several fears going into this experience. Media and the perception of people in todays world have created a negative view of what is the “perfect woman”. I am not perfect.

That was scary for me.

I eventually decided that I am who I am and should go into this with an open mind and just have fun. That made a difference for me.

The only thing I would have done differently would have tried to be more relaxed. Christina is so positive and it was so fun, that being more relaxed would have been a bonus.

What was your favorite part about your Scottsdale boudoir experience?

My favorite part of the boudoir experience was Christina’s energy and positive attitude. We laughed and had a really fun time. It made the experience less stressful and the time went by so fast!

Do you have any advice for someone considering their own boudoir photo shoot?

Just do it! You will not regret it! Allow yourself to have fun, meet and work with Christina who not only does an excellent job as a photographer but has an eye for making you look your best, and do something wonderful for yourself!

Absolutely!!! In the days of self love, this is one of the best things you can do for yourself. I would encourage all women to do this!

“I had a such a great time doing my boudoir photo session! Leah did a great job with my makeup and hair and was a wonderful help with posing. Christina is a ray of sunshine. Her smile lights up the room and if you are nervous her smile and personality will immediately take that away.
I had wanted to do a session for many years but was always waiting for the “right” time. Now as a woman in my 60’s and weighing more than I ever have, having cellulite and stretch marks, it was the perfect time. My confidence has never been high but have always gotten compliments from others. As my worst critic, I didn’t see what others did. I wanted to see the beauty in myself that others saw. Christina was fabulous, helped me with posing, and we laughed when I just did my own thing. She really knows how to make you feel beautiful and how to make the entire session fun. Miss C. had always wanted to do a boudoir shoot. Like a lot of women, the thought of doing a shoot like this was outside of her comfort zone - something that took an act of courage to finally commit and show up all in!

Her journey led her to Bella Jade Boudoir after the birth of her first baby. She expressed a desire to feel beautiful again. A desire to carve out some “me” time to acknowledge everything she has overcome leading up to this moment, her accomplishments, and embrace this current stage of her life.

For her, a boudoir shoot was something she could do for herself that would help her recognize her strengths, celebrate her wins, and reconnect with her body in a way that was reserved just for her.

After her shoot we reached out to interview her about her boudoir experience and she shared with us how she got here, her fears, what it felt like, and her own first hand advise for anyone considering doing a boudoir shoot of their own!

“I felt so confident and just proud to be me. Flaws and all. I finally looked at myself in the mirror that day and said to myself, ‘Damn. You DO got this!’ They truly helped me come out of my shell and have some fun.

What inspired you to pursue a Scottsdale boudoir session?

I had always wanted to do a boudoir shoot. For years I had contemplated it, but never got the courage to actually book it. I had just given birth to my first baby, which had its trials and tribulations in itself, and I just lost over 50 pounds. I was a new mom that hadn't felt pretty in a very long time. I needed to feel confident and comfortable in my own skin again and that is what made me pursue a boudoir session.

Why did you choose Bella Jade Boudoir The Bella Jade Collection for your Arizona boudoir experience?

After reviewing Bella Jade's portfolio and reading their clients' testimonials, I just fell in love with how beautiful and liberating all of these women looked and felt. That's exactly how I wanted to feel.

Do you consider yourself a confident person or more of a work in progress? Did this boudoir experience change the way you see yourself?

I am always a work in progress. Who isn't? But after working with Heidi and Christina, I felt so confident and just proud to be me. Flaws and all. I finally looked at myself in the mirror that day and said to myself, "Damn. You DO got this!" They truly helped me come out of my shell and have some fun!

Did you have any fears going into this? Were you able to overcome them?

I did. I have always been self-conscious about myself and my body, but I wanted to be proud of the hard work I had just put in within the last year with having a baby and losing so much weight. I am so glad I overcame my fear of letting others see me vulnerable. It was such a wonderful liberating experience. I wouldn't have changed a thing!

What was your favorite part about your Scottsdale boudoir experience?

Can I say I loved it all? Cause I did! I just loved being able to feel so comfortable in a normally awkward situation. It was so nice to be pampered, have your makeup done, hair done and just feel beautiful! I would do it again in a heartbeat!

Do you have any advice for someone considering their own boudoir photo shoot?

Do it! Don't contemplate it. We are all beautiful and it should be celebrated! You will not regret it!

My 30th birthday was coming up! I knew I had to do it about a month before so I could have my pictures in hand for my birthday and the timing was perfect!! I just really wanted to celebrate myself and everything I’ve accomplished in just 30 years.

“This is a great way to get out of your comfort zone, prove to yourself that you have a smoking hot body, and improve the way you see yourself. ”

What inspired you to pursue a Scottsdale boudoir photoshoot?

My first thought was for my husband's 50th birthday. I wanted to give him something he would never forget and something completely out of the usual. After booking and in anticipation of the shoot, I realized I was doing this for me. I have had self-image issues as many of us do, and I wanted to show myself my body is my own and damn sexy. I also wanted to prove to myself I could do something like this. I am so glad I made the move to do this.

Honestly, the ad continued to pop up on my social media pages and each time I looked into it. Then, there was a massive discount and I figured, hey, why not?

Now was my time and this was the place for me.

I loved how welcoming and open the website and boudoir guide are. I really felt like I could be comfortable which is what you want when doing something out of your comfort zone.

Do you consider yourself a confident person or more of a work in progress? Did this boudoir experience change the way you see yourself?

My answer really depends on what I am doing and who I am with. I am shy when meeting new people, but open up quickly. This experience has helped me be more confident in my own skin and shown me that despite the "flaws" I look great.

Did you have any fears going into this? Were you able to overcome them?

I was definitely nervous going into this and especially the day of.

I had strained my neck a couple of days prior to my shoot and was scared of how that might affect the end result because of the difficulty I had with some of the poses. I really wanted to make this amazing, so I pushed through with the help of Christina and some champagne :) The only thing I would change is the neck strain, otherwise, the rest of the experience was amazing.

What was your favorite part about your Scottsdale boudoir experience?

My favorite part of the experience probably has to be the reveal. Christina does such an amazing job and really makes this a special moment.

I also loved how the shoot itself flowed, it went from one thing to the next and truly felt like a whirlwind from beginning to end.

Do you have any advice for someone considering their own boudoir photo shoot?

Know your why.

Yes, many of us do this for our significant other, but have a reason to do this for you too. Many of us struggle with self-image, unfortunately, but this is a great way to get out of your comfort zone and prove to yourself you have a smoking hot body and improve the way you see yourself.

I started to second guess myself in the car. I had just gotten news about what was going on with my body and I was asking myself “What am I doing here, I’m a 52 year old woman, I just found out I am in full bloom in menopause, and I questioned what am I doing here?”

I got out of the car and thought, “I’m here, let’s just do this, I don’t have to share the photos if I don’t like them.”

What was your favorite part about your Scottsdale boudoir experience?

Once I walked in and was greeted by Christina and Heidi, I just bursted out what I had just found out and experienced in the car. I started to tear up. They greeted me with open arms and said they were so excited that I showed up.

During the shoot we had a lot of laughs and for once during this building up to doing the shoot, I felt, this is where I am meant to be at this moment in my life.

I felt good about myself as they guided me through the experience.

The reveal is a whole other story. Haha

Do you have any advice for someone considering their own boudoir photo shoot?

Just do it! You may consider, wonder, or question about it, but no matter what, jump all in and take it all in! It will be worth it, it will be just the beginning of you loving “yourself” more than you could ever imagine.

I wanted to see what other people say they see in me. I've been trying to work on being confident and I thought this would really help me with that.

No not even close. I am a work in progress all the way.

Omg yes this experience has changed how I see myself. Just watching the video got me emotional and teary eyed seeing that all those pictures were me and that I did look beautiful.

Did you have any fears going into this? Were you able to overcome them?

Miss C was hoping to find a boudoir photographer in Phoenix that could make her feel comfortable enough to be herself in front of the camera.

Comfy Is The New Sexy | Intimate Phoenix Boudoir Photography

I understand that it takes courage to be photographed in such an intimate way, especially when you challenge yourself to just plain be yourself. It can induce some pretty overwhelming fears, and get pretty personal pretty fast. It can make you feel vulnerable and I get that. But, at the end of the day it is can also be just as freeing. I know this because my clients tell me all of the time that this experience surprised them and that

they never thought something like a boudoir shoot could change the way they see themselves - and then it did.

These photographs are proof that when you are willing to embrace your natural beauty to challenge yourself and be photographed just as you are that there is actually nothing very plain about that at all!

A candlelit room, SOFT BLANKETS, WARM coffee or tea, and a good book to make it feel more like home - this entire series of intimate images was such a delight to photograph and even more delightful to set your sights on. Kat looks absolutely stunning.

Kat was looking for a boudoir photographer in Phoenix to create tastefully sexy photographs that would make her feel not just "sexy" in the superficial sense but confident and comfortable in herself and her body. She wanted something feminine that would elevate her natural beauty and that is always something I can get excited about!

I was so honored to be considered. Kat is kind-hearted, wickedly gorgeous, and I must mention an amazing artist so It was pretty awesome teaming up with her to style her session. We focused on showcasing her warm personality and effortless natural beauty. You can imagine all the warm and fuzzy feelings that gave me! Behind all of the lights, glitter, lush lashes, and big hair - are people. People who are just like you and me. People that desire to feel loved, admired, and confident being just who they are. That's the truth. If all of that glamour, the teasing, the strappy heels, and suggestive lingerie is not your thing - don't be afraid to tell me that. 

Call me a broken record but I can not stress this enough : boudoir photography should be about you and what makes YOU feel beautiful. It should never be about meeting some standard of perfection that ultimately makes you feel beside yourself. I mean, that's just how I see it. I want every woman that comes to me to feel comfortable enough to tell me how they dream of being photographed as well as their fears with full transparency. Do you want to be edgy, sensual, and seductive? Or more like a Sunday watching Netflix in an over sized t-shirt? My aim is to ensure you walk away from this experience feeling amazing about yourself! And that amazing feeling can be fueled by very different things for different people. If you are struggling trying to figure out what to wear for your own sexy pictures. Consider this -

White Sheet Boudoir | Phoenix Lingerie Photographer

Contrary to the chaos that is my life, I am a bit of a minimalist when it comes to shooting boudoir. White sheet boudoir photography is hands down one of my favorite styles to photograph! It is -

simple, elegant, intimate, timeless, and more importantly - all about her. 

I had the pleasure of working with Miss K for her bridal boudoir portraits last year and was so excited to meet with her again! I mean, how did I get so lucky to have such amazing clients? Miss K has a charismatic essence about her - sophisticated, confident, and courageous with the perfect blend of playfulness and poise to make every pose look seamless. We photographed on a Sunday afternoon, and the light peaking into the studio complimented her curves and skin in the most intimate and organic way.  I just adored photographing her and I could not be happier that she was willing to allow me to share her boudoir photos.

Boudoir & All that Sexy Stuff | Phoenix Boudoir Photographer

At The Bella Jade Collection we don't try to define sexy. We don't have a to-do list on how to get sexier for your boudoir pictures. And we certainly do not decide for you what you have to wear to be sexy. That's not us - and we are proud of it. Why?

Our boudoir clients re-define sexy everyday by breaking through to their true selves and embracing who they are in their own skin.

Of course I will provide my expert advice to help you feel more confident and comfortable during your session. I want you to look great, feel great, and walk away with the most captivating portraits of yourself you've ever seen. But, I also want you to be yourself, have fun, and re-discover what makes you uniquely beautiful! Otherwise to me all of that stuff (the lingerie, the make-up, the lashes, the lush hair, and that one photo where you looked like a model straight out of a magazine!) is just, well, stuff. 

I believe that whether you are doing this for yourself or for a significant other, a boudoir session is an investment in you! So, why shouldn't it be about you and celebrate all of the wonderful things that make you uniquely beautiful? Why does it just have to be about (you know) the "sexy" stuff. We take a different approach here at our phoenix boudoir studio, and want you to know that YOU are what makes boudoir the hottest and sexiest gift EVER! And, you are going to rock it by simply by being you and trusting your boudoir photographer to worry about all that other stuff.

I know, I know. I make all of this sound SO simple and I do understand that taking the leap and booking your boudoir photographer takes a bit of courage. I want my clients to know that having it all figured out prior to your boudoir photo-shoot is NOT a requirement. Before you go scouring the web with anxiety and jotting down notes on how to be sexy or memorizing hundreds of boudoir poses stop for a moment and remember that seriously

-the sexiest thing you can do is be yourself! 

What better way to encourage this type of attitude than to SHOW you what I mean with photos of real women who have braved the boudoir and rocked it just by being themselves and embracing their bodies and personalities to the core! 

Miss K. was a welcomed guest at one of our boudoir parties and I am excited to be able to share her images not just because she looks fabulous but  because she also ranks among the many who are not quite sure about this whole boudoir thing.

She was not ashamed to admit that she wouldn't have been here if it wasn't for being invited by a dear friend - a blow to the heart of a passionate boudoir photographer, but also the truth for most women out there. And, even though those words are never my absolute fave - I also knew right then I adored her, because her honesty and willingness to try something new is what I admire most about my clients. And this was my chance to show her how amazing a boudoir experience can be and give her something she will never forget.

I had to know more ( because I really did want her to feel comfortable) and as we talked about her skepticism about this whole boudoir thing, and how humorous some of the preparation lists they all had found on the internet seemed, I had to give it a bit of a laugh myself. But you guys I cant stress enough that at the end of the day, the best way to prepare is to just have a sit down with yourself  and figure out what YOU want and what is going to make YOU feel good about yourself. It didn't take Miss K very long to break through to the real her, and exude her own kind of sexy and we LOVE that here ar our Phoenix boudoir studio. Yes, the "stuff" and preparation will always be importrant, but not as important as

breaking through to the real you, and seeing yourself as unapologetically beautiful.

Rockabilly Boudoir with Miss E. | Pheonix Boudoir Photographer

Miss E. re-defined sexy as she danced and laughed throughout her rockabilly inspired boudoir session.

Getting to know Miss E. and taking her boudoir and pin up pictures was such a pleasure. She came to me a little unsure, which is normal. But her story really moved me as she went on to admit that she had spent the majority of her life trying to figure out why she was stuck in this body. She never would have thought there would come a day that she would feel comfortable enough to EVER do anything like this. I admired her bravery for sharing such intimate details with me and set out to ensure this experience would bring her the gift of confidence I knew she'd deserved.

I couldn't have been happier to help Miss E. create the most beautiful portraits of herself shed ever seen!

I mean, this is the kind of woman who is always looking out for everyone else. The kind of woman you call just to talk and hear a friendly voice on a bad day. She is everyone's momma bear, putting those she loves needs before hers every-single-day. And yet amongst spreading all of these beautiful gestures and accomplishing what seemed the unthinkable - of finding good health and happiness

she still looked in the mirror with some uncertainty. She wanted NEEDED to see herself as beautiful.

She was more then well deserving of such a wonderful and freeing experience. When Miss E agreed to allow me to share her story I could not have been more grateful. It is no doubt that she is such an inspiration and her photographs are uncannily beautiful.

THIS. This right here is my why - having the opportunity to help women find their wild and feel confident in their own skin. I want this to be a place where women can feel comfortable enough to be themselves, have fun, and create something that is authentic and genuine. Capturing Miss E's boudoir photos was not just about taking pretty pictures. My aim as a boudoir photographer is to capture your unique beauty in the best light, to collect all of those moments, and celebrate the well deserving and beautiful woman within all of us.

“Seeing those pictures changed my perception about myself. When I saw them, the first thing that I thought was, “That girl is so pretty and she looks so happy.”  A part of my mind refused to believe it was actually ME!  I had to pull over on the way home and just sat and cried over the fact that the “pretty, happy girl” in those pictures was, indeed, me!! For years, every time (he) has said, “Hello Beautiful,” my response has been, “Hello Blind!” He noticed that after that day, he says, “Hello Beautiful,” and my response is “Hello Handsome,” or “Hi Baby,” or something like that. I want to thank you!  You helped me see it!  You helped me find it!!  ”
