As a woman in her 40’s, a wife, a mother, a cross fit trainer — this babe earned some self affirming! I’d be lying if we didn’t say that doing this as a belated birthday gift for her husband was not a double win! But mostly, I’m glad that Miss B. signed up for herself, and embraced the opportunity to celebrate her sexy! This session allowed her to connect with herself in a way that was both freeing and empowering!
With her permission we have been able to share some of the photos from her boudoir shoot alongside her after the session interview.

For Miss B. a boudoir session was something she had wanted to do for a while and honestly it was so well deserved! You see, Miss B. is one of those clients you do not forget. You know, the ones it becomes easily obvious they are adored for being nothing short of fun, fierce and full of life and love. We’d hoped to amplify her confidence by capturing all of those qualities in her boudoir photos while also reminding her that she looks beautiful just being herself! I’d say between her, myself, the hair and make up artist, and her support team cheering her on behind the scenes at home, we were able to accomplish it all!

What inspired you to pursue a Scottsdale boudoir session?
I’d been wanting to do it for a long time, and my husbands birthday was the perfect extra “little” push I needed.
Why did you choose Bella Jade Boudoir The Bella Jade Collection for your Arizona boudoir experience?
I looked at multiple boudoir photographers in the Phoenix area and decided I liked the style of Christina’s photography style and she looked like so much fun to be around…she did not disappoint!
Do you consider yourself a confident person or more of a work in progress? Did this boudoir experience change the way you see yourself?
I am definitely a work in progress, but this experience helped change the way I see myself. I never thought I knew how to be sexy or that I even had it in me to be photographed while trying. I felt not only sexy, but beautiful!
Did you have any fears going into this? Were you able to overcome them?
The only fear I had going into this is not really knowing how to use my body to capture the images I was hoping for, but Christina is not only an amazing photographer but also a great coach! She even taught me how to get rid of my RBF for a quick minute!
What was your favorite part about your Scottsdale boudoir experience?
I don’t have a single favorite part, I loved every single moment! From having a yummy mimosa, getting beautified with Leah, to just having so much fun! The time went by way too fast!
Do you have any advice for someone considering their own boudoir photo shoot?
Just do it! I think every woman should do it, and love your body no matter what stage of life you are in.

These photos were taken using a minimalist approach to boudoir that would focus on honoring her undeniable glow by using nothing more than soft window light. We took inspiration from her natural movements while coaching her through boudoir posing using the sheer curtains. Incorporating the sheer tulle and posing with the curtains was an intentional choice that would help her flow seamlessly through the poses for an effortless look, as well as add a texture and elegance that would elevate the sense of femininity.
The results were nothing shy of breathtaking.
