This boudoir client interview with Miss A. is the reason I think sharing is so important! For that, I am forever grateful to be able to spotlight her experience!

In her interview, she reveals having a lot of questions at first. She talks about reading and seeing other everyday women doing it. It didn’t matter what shape or size they were. They were doing it and walking away feeling really good about themselves. That’s what helped her finally do it for herself! Miss D. coming into our boudoir studio bringing all of the energy was such a breath of fresh air. Her confidence and body positivity entirely blew me away! After spending time working on her self image, over time she was able to get to a place of compassion, love, and appreciation for her body. We love that! Doing a boudoir session was something she wanted to do for herself as a way to honor her body, and celebrate her self love journey!

I’d be lying if we didn’t say that doing this as a belated birthday gift for her husband was not a double win! But mostly, I’m glad that Miss B. signed up for herself, and embraced the opportunity to celebrate her sexy! This session allowed her to connect with herself in a way that was both freeing and empowering!

Miss T. Celebrates turning 50 with Her Very Own Boudoir Photo Shoot at Bella Jade Boudoir in Scottsdale Arizona | After The Session Interview

To celebrate her 50th birthday Miss T. decided to book a boudoir session with us at Bella Jade Boudoir in Scottsdale. This was something she knew would have to be on her bucket list no matter how scary it seemed — She would later find that doing this session had in fact made a positive impact on her self esteem and gave her a huge sense of pride. Looking back at these photos is now something she finds encouraging, empowering, and uses it as a reminder for herself that we are capable of amazing things if we can set aside what we’re afraid of, believe in ourselves, and are willing to step outside of our comfort zones.

For her boudoir session Miss T. booked The Grey Room in Scottsdale and wore a variety of outfits from sweet, subtlety seductive to something more ris·qué including topless with a white button down shirt. In her after the session interview she talks about how her most nerve wracking outfit ended up being in one of her favorite pics.

She says “Words can not express the amazing experience I had. Turning 50 at the end of 2022 and being body shamed since I was 12 this was something I have wanted to do for years but was so afraid to. Made it a bucket list item and signed up. I did my research on other photographers but following Christina on social media I got the feeling she truly cared and understood that not all women are built the same and we have our insecurities. I was right the moment I walked in the door the day of the shoot I felt like I was hanging out with old friends just catching up and having a great time. Then when I saw the completed pics all my previous worries went away and I am completely proud of myself for doing this. I wish I could say that doing a boudoir session is an easy YES for everyone, because I wholeheartedly believe in boudoir and what it can do for you. Though — the truth is that it is not uncommon for women to put off doing a shoot like this.

Not only can it be incredibly intimidating at first, but it takes courage to confront your own doubts and body insecurities. For some a boudoir session can challenge the way they see themselves. While that journey can empower confidence it isn’t always easy to show up all in, right away.

Miss N. began her search for the best boudoir photographer in Scottsdale because she wanted to create an unforgettable gift for her groom. But, getting married was not the only reason she wanted to do a shoot like this. Miss N. had wanted to do a boudoir shoot for many years. She had never really felt it was OK to consider herself as a “sexy” woman. What inspired you to pursue a Scottsdale boudoir session?

My first thought was for my husband's 50th birthday. I wanted to give him something he would never forget and something completely out of the usual. After booking and in anticipation of the shoot, I realized I was doing this for me. I have had self-image issues as many of us do, and I wanted to show myself my body is my own and damn sexy. I also wanted to prove to myself I could do something like this. I am so glad I made the move to do this.

Miss M. had been in our VIP group for over a year. She was recommended by someone who's done two shoots with us. She's wanted to do a shoot like this for a while and needed to build up the courage to go for it. Well — She won our Giveaway in February and was met head on by some of her fears. A new season in her life that was filled with uncertainty but unapologetic love for herself and her body. She embraced it.
